1. Abrasive Blasting
Our enclosed blasting chamber is designed to handle massive steel sections, plates, and fabrications. Utilizing high-efficiency platinum slag grit, we blast surface contaminants away, ensuring proper anchor pattern depth.
Blasting Parameters
| Blasting Standards | ISO 8501-1 SA 2, SA 2.5, SA 3 (White Metal) |
| Anchor Profile Depth | 40μm to 75μm (or client specified profile) |
| Abrasive Media | Synthetic magnesium iron silicate derived from platinum slag |
| Max Component Size | Up to 6m in length in our enclosed area; large scale blasting can be done in our open yard |
2. Spray Painting
Industrial paint spraying is conducted within our large covered spray bays. We utilize conventional air spray rigs to apply high-viscosity protective systems evenly, ensuring consistent wet and dry film builds.
Application Details
| Application Equipment | Conventional air spray, HVLP, brush & roller touchup |
| Facilities | Large warehouse space for undercover spray painting |
| Coating Uniformity | Continuous audit of Dry Film Thickness (DFT) across all sections |
| Typical Coatings | All industrial paint and QD paint products |
3. Protective Coatings
We apply multi-layered coating systems designed to withstand atmospheric and chemical corrosion. We closely partner with leading paint suppliers to offer certified applicator warranties.
Coating Specifications
| Polyurethane Systems | UV-resistant aliphatic urethanes for structural steel color retention |
| Epoxy Systems | High-build epoxies, coal tar epoxies for water immersion |
| Zinc-Rich Primers | Inorganic zinc silicates, organic zinc-rich epoxies (galvanic protection) |
| Manufacturer Range | Stoncor, Jotun, Plascon, AkzoNobel (International), Sigma (PPG) |
4. Surface Preparation
We perform rigorous chemical washdowns and preparation. Eliminating oils, grease, salts, and chemical residues is essential to secure durable mechanical bonding.
Preparation Techniques
| Chemical Washing | High pressure washing to strip atmospheric salts and chemical crusts |
| Mechanical Cleaning | Power-tool grinding, wire brushing (SSPC-SP2/SP3) for touchups |
| Inspection Audits | Weber Reilly Salt Testing available |
5. Industrial Structures
We customize blasting and paint specifications depending on the structural asset. From massive mining chutes to intricate power station structural girders, we match chemical specs to operational loads.
Structural Specialities
| Power & Energy | Mining-standard paint systems for structural girders, ducting, boilers |
| Mining Equipment | Impact-resistant epoxy as per mining specifications |
| Petrochemical Plants | Chemical-resistant as per mining specifications |
| Heavy Infrastructure | Overhead gantry crane assemblies, structural truss steelwork |
6. Quality Assurance
Quality is verified at every stage of the blast and coat cycle. We supply complete QA data books detailing environmental conditions, profile checks, and film thickness scans.
Inspection Protocols
| Climatic Tracking | Monitoring ambient temperature, steel temp, relative humidity, and dew point |
| Profile Auditing | Calibrated Blast Profile Gauge for anchor profile confirmation |
| DFT Checking | Calibrated electromagnetic thickness gauges (dry film thickness scan) |
| Handover Documents | Complete QA Data Books including brand batch numbers & climate logs |
